前回の「配信法」に続き、今回は「聴き方」を解説します。
アプリの用意
【パソコンの場合】iTunes を起ち上げ、iTunes Store 内にある「Podcast」にアクセスします。

【スマートフォンの場合】
iPhone をお使いの方は Apple 純正の「Podcast」というアプリを使うか、サードパーティーから出ているポッドキャスト･アプリを App Store からインストールします。Android の場合は Google Play Store からインストールしてください。iOS、Android 共に多くのポッドキャスト･アプリがリリースされていて、どれを選べばいいか迷うところですが、まずは無料のアプリをいくつか試して、自分に合うものを探してみてください。
番組を購読
iTunes Store やスマホ･アプリ内の番組カタログから聴きたい番組を見つけ、「購読する」をポチッとします。例えば「知り合いが配信している番組を購読したいと思ったのに、その番組がカタログになかった」というような時は、配信元のサイトで「配信用のフィード（RSS2.0）」を探し、iTunes なら「Podcastを購読」、iOS 用「Podcast App」なら「Podcastを追加」で入力欄を開き、そこにフィードの URL を入力してください。■ iOS 用の Apple 純正アプリ「Podcast App」の使い方
※ この記事では、iTunes の表記に合わせて「購読」という言葉を使いましたが、アプリによっては「登録」や「追加」などの言葉が使われている事もあります。また海外製のアプリでは「Subscribe（サブスクライブ）」という表記が一般的のようです。
さて、今回はパソコンとスマホを例に挙げて説明しましたが、最近では Spotify や Google Play Music などの音楽ストリーミング･サーヴィスが Podcast カテゴリーを設けたり、Apple TV や Chromecast など、テレビと連携するタイプの機器もポッドキャストのコンテンツを取り込む動きを見せており、ダウンロードして聴くのが一般的だったポッドキャストは、ストリーミングでも楽しめるものへと劇的に変わりつつあります。

Subscribe to the show
From the iTunes Store and the program catalog in the smartphone application, find the program you want to listen to and click "Subscribe". For example, when you say "I wanted to subscribe to a program that my acquaintance is delivering, but that program did not exist in the catalog", please send "Feed for distribution (RSS 2.0)" on distribution source site Search, enter "Podcast Subscribe" for iTunes, "Add Podcast" for iOS "Podcast App" and enter the URL of the feed there.
■ How to use "Apple Purecast App" for iOS
