Rec! Up!

What I'd like to think about before becoming a podcast refugee

Long ago, there were several blogs / services that sang "podcast correspondence" to Japan, so it would be "Kerorog" or "Cocorog" would be nice "So-net" How about you and you can get lost in luxury It was. But the blog / service itself disappears, the contents of the service has been reduced, subscription acceptance has been stopped, and now the active player remaining in the country is not an exaggeration to say "Seesaa only" I'm sorry.

However, Seesaa of the requested line also has not appealed clearly "podcast correspondence" these days. Even if I search for anything on the top page of the Seesaa blog on that evidence, I do not see the word "podcast", but merely that the items "music / podcast" are barely lined up in the blog category column.

Once a domestic service was withdrawn one after another and it was Seesaa who accepted refugees every time, now Seesaa is also reluctant to "attract pod casters" attitude. Even those who are planning to start a podcast from now and podcasters already delivering from Seesaa may have come to think about 'worst scenario' that may come someday and think about "choices other than Seesaa" It might be good.

Some people can install WordPress on their own server, incorporate a plug-in for podcasts there, and build a distribution system on their own. However, since it requires money and knowledge, the hurdles are somewhat higher for the general public. Then, the frightening reality that our refugees left only the overseas hosting service ... ‥ ....

Of course, Seesaa is the first to continue podcasts and services, but unfortunately, when the "worst scenario" becomes a reality, when possible, in order to ensure the next action without panic, as much as possible I will write an article that seems to be helpful in 【Talk! Rec! Up!】.
