毎週日曜に Mixlr からナマ配信している「SUNDAY NIGHT LIVE」は、配信後に Mixlr のサイトに音声ファイルをアップしているので、ナマに参加できなかった人もアーカイヴで楽しむ事ができます。そして、その音声ファイルは同時に Mixcloud 内にある Fredio ページにもアップしてるんですが、さっきその Mixcloud に上げてあるファイルを見てみたら「TRACKLIST」の欄に１つだけ曲名とミュージシャンが表示されていて「あれ？」と思いました。僕はそんな項目を入力した覚えがありません。
曲目の横にショッピング･カートのアイコンがあったのでクリックしてみると、Juno Download というサイトに飛ばされ、僕が番組内で流した曲の購入ページが表示されました。もしかして Mixcloud はアップされた音声を解析して、自動的に曲を見つけ出し、購入サイトに紐付けているのだろうか？ たしかに Shazam などを使えば、音声データから曲名を突き止める事などいとも簡単にできてしまう時代です。なるほどぉ、ちょっと怖ろしくもあるけれど、たしかにこれは賢いシステムです。
念のためググってみましたら「Mixcloud and Juno Download team up to improve music identification for radio」という見出しのページを発見。文中には「Shazam for radio」というフレーズが確認できます。僕の解釈が正しければ、やはり Mixcloud は Shazam で音声を自動解析してトラック･リストを表示させていたのでしょう。このシステム、今はまだ音楽検索に留まっていますが、そのうち言語認識の精度も実用レヴェルにまで上がるでしょうから、僕らが今までポッドキャストで喋ってきた与太話も、そう遠くない将来、検索対象になってしまうんでしょうね。「テキストはググられるから用心しなきゃならない。けど音声なら何を喋っても平気さ」と、ポッドキャストでテキトーな事ばっかし喋っていると、とんだ赤っ恥をかく日が来るかも知れません。クワバラクワバラ。

If my interpretation is right, again Mixcloud was automatically displaying speech on Shazam and displaying the track list. This system is still in the music search now, but since the accuracy of language recognition will also rise to practical level in the meantime, the political story that we have talked about in podcasts so far is not so distant in the future I guess it will become. "Text must be guarded because it can be guessed, but if you are talking about pecking with podcasts, it's okay if you speak anything, then it may be a day of shameful reddish shame. Stag beetle.
